Ella Spira MBE
Ella Spira MBE is a Grammy-nominated composer, painter, and co-founder of Sisters Grimm. Passionate about cultural storytelling through the arts, she has dedicated her career to celebrating underrepresented cultures through immersive experiences.
Her cross-disciplinary collaborations have reached audiences worldwide, with her music earning a Grammy nomination for Best World Music Album. Her visual art has been exhibited at Carnegie Hall, the Royal Opera House, and Dubai Opera, with her paintings selling for over £1 million in 18 months.
In recognition of her impact on international trade and the creative industries, Ella was awarded an MBE in 2021. Her work continues to bridge cultures, blending music, art, and performance in ways that challenge boundaries and redefine artistic expression.

Pietra Mello-Pittman MBE
Pietra Mello-Pittman MBE is a former Royal Ballet dancer turned award- winning producer, dedicated to creating immersive cultural experiences. Born in Rio de Janeiro and raised in England, she trained at the Royal Ballet School before performing worldwide with The Royal Ballet for 13 years.
In 2009, she co-founded Sisters Grimm, blending diverse art forms to create globally acclaimed productions. Her work includes the Grammy-nominated INALA, a fusion of Zulu music and performance, and Voices of the Amazon, which won Best Show at the Brazilian International Press Awards.
Beyond the stage, Pietra drives social impact initiatives, providing underprivileged communities with access to the arts through free tickets, workshops, and mentorship programs. She has led collaborations with global icons like Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Jeremy Irons, and the Soweto Gospel Choir, and partnered with the UK Government’s GREAT Campaign.
Recognized for her contributions to the creative industries and international trade, Pietra was honored with an MBE in 2021.
